My name is Filip Palmquist, and I am a ceramic artist.
I started my ceramic journey on a two-year education outside of Stockholm.
As a ceramicist, i take inspiration from everyday objects and nature. My work reflects the beauty of the simple and transforming ordinary objects into something more than just a bowl or a plate.
How I work depends a lot on what I feel at the moment. Choice of clay and glaze changes a lot depending on what I am inspired by. As a result, work becomes very fun and playful. It's important to me to feel that I'm creating mainly for myself and if it goes well with others, it's only a bonus!
